So you just had a microneedling / microdermabrasion / laser / etc. skin treatment done by your beloved esthetician. Congratulations! Your skin is going to look absolutely incredible, and we are here to help you with a few important aftercare instructions.
WHY AFTERCARE IS IMPORTANT:
Skin treatments can have amazing benefits and help with many common skin concerns such as wrinkles and fine lines, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, scarring, and more, but some treatments (such as microneedling) actually cause small amounts of damage to both the outer epidermis layer and inner dermis layer of the skin. The damage is so minimal that the skin is usually back to normal within a few hours or days (depending on the treatment), but in that time a healing response has been triggered, in which your own stem cells start to heal the area that has been affected by your skin treatment.
By following your treatment with FACTORFIVE, this will give your skin an extra boost of adult human stem cell derived growth factors that diminish the look of wrinkles, acne scarring, hyper pigmentation, and more.
FIVE DAY POST TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
Day 1: SOOTHE
Following an in-office skin procedure, unfold the post treatment facial sheet mask, remove protective layer and apply to the face. Remove the outer layer and adjust eye, nose, and mouth openings as needed. Enjoy for 10–15 minutes. Remove and discard the mask. Do not rinse. Massage remaining serum over face and neck.
Days 2 & 3: TREAT
After cleansing, gently apply half a tube of post treatment serum to treated areas with mild pressure using clean hands or gloves, morning and night, or as directed by your skincare professional. Allow serum to dry before applying the anti-aging cream.
Days 4 & 5: RESTORE
After cleansing, apply half a tube of regenerative serum to treated areas with clean hands, morning and night. Allow serum to dry before applying the anti-aging cream.
Days 1–5: HYDRATE
Every day after applying the serum, apply one to two pumps of the anti-aging cream gently over treated areas using clean hands every day until it runs out.
